That is why we are proud to announce that the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) has once again awarded Therme Bucharest the WELL Health-Safety Rating for 2024. 

The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all new and existing building and space types focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement and emergency plans to address a post-COVID-19 environment now and into the future.

Within the WELL Health-Safety Rating, there are 25 features spread across core areas, with a requirement to meet a minimum of 15. These include:

• Cleaning and Sanitisation Procedures
• Emergency Preparedness Programmes
• Health Service Resources
• Air and Water Quality Management
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

Therme Bucharest achieved a total score of 22 points and earned recognition for each strategy submitted.

The distinction affirms Therme’s commitment to providing the highest standard of health and safety features at its facilities, ensuring a safe environment for over a million guests per year.
