Therme Group has appointed Kellan Florio as Chief Investment Officer, a key leadership addition to support the company's global expansion strategy. A seasoned investment and capital markets executive with an extensive background in experiential real estate, Florio brings two decades of expertise to the role at a moment of rapid growth—with major wellbeing infrastructure projects in various stages of growth and development worldwide.
Reporting directly to CEO Robert Hanea, Kellan Florio will join Therme Group’s leadership as a Member of the Executive Board and be based in Therme Group’s New York office. Florio will work in close partnership with Therme Group CFO, Adrian Ion, to advance the Group’s growth ambitions with a shared commitment to sustainable value creation, operational excellence, and long-term impact.

In this newly created role, as Chief Investment Officer, Florio will be responsible for leading Therme Group’s global capital formation strategy and overseeing investment activity across development, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. He will play a central role in aligning capital with the Group’s long-term growth objectives—advancing the Group’s multi-billion dollar portfolio across key international markets.
Florio most recently served as the Chief Investment Officer of VICI Properties, Inc., a NYSE-listed, S&P 500 real estate investment trust focused on gaming and experiential real estate. At VICI, he led strategy, origination, underwriting, and execution of investments and lending activities across a wide range of categories, including entertainment, leisure, sports, wellness, and hospitality.
Prior to VICI, Florio spent over 15 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as Managing Director and Global Head of Lodging & Leisure within the Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging Investment Banking Group where he advised on over $100 billion in M&A and capital markets transactions globally.
