Therme Group today announced the appointment of Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir to its Board of Directors, reinforcing the Group’s leadership at a pivotal moment of global expansion as it scales wellbeing as essential civic infrastructure across major cities worldwide.

Roksana brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across global finance, institutional transformation, and large-scale investment. She previously served as Deputy CEO and Vice President of the Management Board of Bank Pekao S.A., the second-largest universal bank in Poland and one of the leading financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe, and has held senior roles at Credit Suisse, JPMorgan, Edmond de Rothschild, Merrill Lynch, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

She has played an important role in Therme Group’s growth trajectory and catalyzed the Group’s landmark $1 billion joint venture with CVC Capital Partners, supporting Therme’s evolution into a global wellbeing infrastructure platform.

“Roksana brings a rare combination of institutional leadership, strategic depth, and long-term vision. Her experience operating at the highest levels of global finance, together with her ability to bridge capital, governance, and human wellbeing, makes her an exceptional addition to our Board as we accelerate Therme’s international expansion.”

Robert Hanea, Chairman of Therme Group

Roksana is the Founder of Possible X, a platform focused on translating science, systems thinking, and technology into human-centered solutions with lasting societal impact. She is also an Executive Producer of Nuclear Now, a film by Oliver Stone examining the global energy transition and the role of nuclear energy in long-term resilience.

“Therme is redefining wellbeing as foundational civic infrastructure — something cities must intentionally design, invest in, and scale. As wellbeing becomes a structural priority for urban development, governance and long-term capital alignment are essential. I’m honored to join the Board at this stage of growth and to contribute to building resilient systems that serve communities for decades to come.”
