Therme Group has announced a partnership with the British Council during the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018.
The British Council works in over 100 countries encouraging cultural, scientific, technological and educational cooperation with the United Kingdom, and changing people’s lives through access to education, skills, qualifications, culture and society.
To inaugurate Therme Group’s corporate partnership with the British Council, a Therme Forum panel discussion was presentedby its art initiative, Therme Art Program, at the British Pavilion during the Venice Architecture Biennale.
Titled Free Future Cities, the program used the 2018 Biennale’s “Freespace” theme as a point of departure to discuss architecture and city planning amongst a multidisciplinary group of leading voices in art, architecture, and science.
Panelists included Hans Ulrich Obrist, Stefano Mancuso, Mollie Dent-Brocklehurst, Lonneke Gordijn, Peter St John, Michaela de Pury, and Robert C. Hanea, with Mikolaj Sekutowicz and Sara Faraj as moderators.
