Therme Group has signed an MOU with SK ecoplant, a leader in environmental and energy innovation technologies and part of SK Corp, South Korea’s second largest conglomerate. The new partnership is a step forward for Therme’s plans to bring a wellbeing resort to South Korea’s Incheon City, as part of its Golden Harbour development.

Within the agreement, SK ecoplant would be appointed as the principal contractor, responsible for licensing, design support, and construction at the site. Therme Group Korea would retain responsibility for overall development and operation. The MOU also details a technology partnership where both parties will work together to integrate their expertise.

SK ecoplant specialises in a wide variety of energy solutions, including solar power and fuel cells, alongside environmental technologies such as water treatment. Throughout their concept and design, Therme resorts use high-end technology to deliver environments optimised for wellbeing and sustainability. This includes advanced air and water filtration and heat exchange technology.
